ABOUT ME

I moved to Arizona in 1995 and was instantly smitten with the Sonoran Desert. I have been photographing the desert ever since and never tire of exploring it.

Besides being a photographer, I am an avid hiker. It was during my hikes with groups that I realized a need for a pocket sized visual guide to our desert flora. A pictorial guide would also be a great opportunity to show my photographer friends the amazing photo opportunities that exist right in their own backyards.

The images in this guide reflect my observations of flora in our area over the past 6 years. Creating this guide has given me quite an education regarding each of the species. My hope is it enlightens you too!

Along with my love for photography, I am also passionate about preserving our Sonoran Desert so I have pledged profits from the sale of this guide toward that effort.
